SiteOne Landscape Supply Product Training

Welcome to the SiteOne Landscape Supply product training page. Here you will find the recommended Hunter product training courses that can help you gain the knowledge you need to serve our customers more effectively. By learning more about the features and benefits of Hunter products, you will be better equipped to make solid product recommendations, and answer product questions for our customers.

How to Sign Up

If you already have a Hunter ID, just click on the link to the course you want to take below, and once you provide your log in, you will be directed to that course’s home page.

If you forgot your Hunter ID, click here, and you will receive an email with further instructions.

If you do not have a Hunter ID, you will need to create one. Click here to access the form, and be sure to list your branch number, and your SiteOne email address, along with the rest of the requested information. Note: If you do not use your John Deere or SiteOne email address, your progress will not be tracked.

Having trouble with your log in or didn’t receive your confirmation email?
It’s likely getting caught by your spam filters. If you don’t see it in your junk folder, you should add info@hunterindustries.com to your contacts list and then go back to forgot password to resend the email.The email will allow you to set your password and log in.

Here are the Hunter courses you can take to earn your Hunter Product Technician Certificate:

  1. ROTR100-T – Rotors Overview
  2. SPRY100-T – Sprays Overview
  3. MPR100-T – MP Rotator Fundamentals
  4. VLV100-T – Valves Overview
  5. CONT100-T – Residential Controllers Overview
  6. CONT101-T – Commercial Controllers Overview
  7. CONT160-T – Remote Control Overview
  8. CONT170-T – Battery Powered Controllers Overview
  9. SEN100-T – Sensors Overview
  10. DRIP100-T – Drip and Micro Irrigation Overview

Each course consists of a training module or video and a quiz. The quiz must be completed and submitted. In order to receive credit for each course, you must score 80% or higher on the quiz.

Completion Notification Form

Once you have completed the 10 required courses with a passing score, please go to the Technician Level page and submit the Completion Notification Form, which can be found toward the bottom of the page.

You can check your completed courses and grades with your Hunter ID by going to https://sso.hunterindustries.com. You can identify the Technician Level courses by the letter T following the course number. For example, ROTR100-T.

If you have completed the 10 required courses with a score of 80% or higher, your Hunter Product Technician certificate will be processed within three weeks.

Once you’ve completed the Technician Level, if you want to further your knowledge, you can explore the two Specialist Levels:

I-Core and DUAL Specialist Required Courses

  3. CONT132-S – Dual Features and Benefits
  4. CONT230-S – I-Core Basic Programming – Start-up
  5. CONT231-S – I-Core Advanced Programming – Extended Features
  6. CONT232-S – I-Core Advanced Programming – Solar Sync Installation and Setup
  7. CONT233-S – I-Core Advanced Programming – Flow Sensor Setup
  8. CONT330-S – Dual Decoder System Installation and Setup
  9. CONT150-S – ICD-HP Fundamentals

ACC and ACC Decoder Specialist Required Courses

  1. CONT140-S – ACC and ACC Decoder Fundamentals
  2. CONT141-S – ACC with Solar Sync Fundamentals
  3. CONT240-S – ACC Basic Programming
  4. CONT241-S – ACC Advanced Programming – Extended Features
  5. CONT242-S – ACC Advanced Programming – Solar Sync Setup
  6. CONT243-S – ACC Advanced Programming – Flow Sensor Setup
  7. CONT244-S – ACC Advanced Programming – Decoder Functions
  8. CONT340-S – ACC Basic Installation – Wall Mount, Metal Pedestal, and Plastic Pedestal
  9. CONT150-S – ICD-HP Fundamentals (no need to take it again if already taken for the I-Core designation)

Each course consists of a training module or video and a quiz. The quiz must be completed and submitted. In order to receive credit for each course, you must score 80% or higher on the quiz.

Once you have completed the 9 required courses with a passing score, please go to the Specialist Level page and submit the Completion Notification Form, which can be found at the bottom of the page.

You can check your grades by clicking on Overview when signed into your Hunter ID, or click on your name at the top of the Training site. You can identify the Specialist Level courses by the letter S following the course number. For example: CONT130-S. If you have completed the required courses with a score of 80% or higher, your Hunter Product Specialist certificate will be processed within two weeks.
